New Purse Pattern

Well, it's been a crazy week but I've been busy working on a new little purse. This came about as a request from a dear friend of mine who wanted a small purse to run around town with.

I'll post pics tomorrow so please check back when you have a chance.

It's 7-1/2" wide by 5-1/2" high by 1-1/2" deep. It has 2 pockets inside to stash a little something.

The outside has a pocket across the back for phone, keys, whatever you need quickly.

Well, back to the sewing room....please check back to see the finished product.

Have a Wonderful Day !!!

New to Blogging

Welcome to my new blog!! I'm glad you stopped by.

I'm new to blogging so I'm sure I'm going to stumble along the way but feel it's a great way for potential customers to see a different side of me, other than "just" my handcrafted items for sale.

I've been sewing most of my life which is several decades LOL but I discovered quilting about 9 years ago and got addicted.

My first major project was a quilt for my son who had specific ideas in mind. Little did I know that I needed a whole lot of quilting classes in order to tackle this quilt. Since I love my son very much, I was determined to make this quilt for him. After 2 years of classes, sketches, private tutoring, trial and error, etc., I finally got it finished.  This is my own design from start to finish and I'm happy that he really does love it. The picture doesn't do it justice because the grays around the center star are actually gradated shades creating a 3D effect.

I live in SE Michigan with my hubby of 28 years and counting, along with my little dachshund, Chip. We rescued him from a local dachshund rescue group in October, 2011. He's quite the character.

Well, that's it for now.
